Dr. Rigor and his team at Rigor Dermatology & Laser Center offer skin resurfacing procedures including microdermabrasion and 3D Skin Rejuvenation for patients in Pasadena, CA and the San Gabriel Valley.

Microdermabrasion works by exfoliating skin, removing the thick, uneven outer layer of the skin with a special type of abrasive instrument. Less aggressive than dermabrasion, the procedures helps patients achieve smooth, healthy skin, eliminating fine lines and superficial scars, large pores, stretch marks, light sun damage, acne, and age spots.

Patients may experience a mild scratching sensation and vibration from microdermabrasion. Following the procedure, a special moisturizer may be recommended, but there is no downtime required.

3D Skin Rejuvenation treatments include LimeLight, Laser Genesis and Titan Skin Tightening treatments, all of which help our patients significantly improve skin appearance. These treatments reduce surface wrinkles, eliminate redness and brown spots, and reduce the size of pores. LimeLight treatments are particularly effective at correcting problems on the surface of the skin, including freckles, sun damage, and redness. Laser Genesis treatments soften fine lines and wrinkles, while Titan Skin Tightening stimulates the body’s natural collagen production, giving the skin a fuller, more youthful appearance.

Dr. Rigor applies the laser energy of the LimeLight, Laser Genesis and Titan Skin Tightening devices in short bursts. During the LimeLight treatment, a mild sensation similar to a small pinch may be felt. Laser Genesis treatments may create warm sensations on your skin, and Titan Skin Tightening treatments can cause a combination of cooling and warming sensations.

Between two and six sessions may be recommended, depending on a personalized treatment plan designed by Dr. Rigor to achieve the best results. While some skin changes will be visible immediately following each procedure, 2 to 4 weeks following treatment, your skin will be noticeably improved.
